World Intellectual Property Day was traditionally marked with a meeting of Eurasian Patent Office management and experts with patent attorneys, candidate Eurasian patent attorneys, representatives of the editorial offices of Russian periodicals dealing with intellectual property, and other interested persons from the States party to the EAPC and from various regions of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, in addition to speeches by Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office, and experts of the Eurasian Patent Office on topics relevant to the professional activities of Eurasian patent attorneys, an interesting exchange of views took place regarding the joint activities of patent attorneys and the Eurasian Patent Office, including the prospects for close professional cooperation.

Registers of Eurasian patent attorneys specializing in inventions and industrial designs are posted in the “Patent Attorneys” section of the EAPO web portal (www.eapo.org), as is the text of the Statute on Eurasian Patent Attorneys defining the evaluation procedure for candidate Eurasian patent attorneys, together with the program of the certification exam.
