EAPO Annual Report 2017

Financial Performance

For managing its finance in the reported period, the Eurasian Patent Organization relied on the Eurasian Patent Convention, the Financial Regulations under the Eurasian Patent Convention and the effective law of the country of origin of EAPO's headquarters.

Amid the decline in Eurasian applications filings made in the reported period as compared to 2016, the revenue passed the budgeted mark to demonstrate 8.7 per cent growth. The drivers included the growing figures at Eurasian applications examination stages and an updated version of the Statute on Fees of the Eurasian Patent Organization newly implemented for generating higher procedural fees.
