I cordially congratulate the multi-national staff of the Eurasian Patent Office and the Eurasian Patent Organization on the occasion of the five-year anniversary of its foundation.
During such a short stretch of time a large-scale objective has been met: a unified patent territory that encompasses the Commonwealth of Independent States has been established.
The Eurasian Patent Organization, the idea of which was proposed by Russia and supported by the Commonwealth states, now is one of the four internationally recognized inter-governmental organizations in the area of regional patenting of inventions, and is an important element in the inter-state and national systems of industrial property protection.
You've made a sizeable input into the protection of the world's intellectual potential and thus into the development of international collaboration, and into the process of political and economic integration in the Eurasian and world communities.
I wish you new successes, happiness and wellbeing, and the further flourishing of your Organization.
