On December 28, 2022, the XV International Intellectual Property Olympiad for high school students starts. The Olympiad winners will be awarded memorable gifts and additional scores for personal achievements for being accepted to the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RSAIP) in 2023.

Since 2009, the International Olympiad has been jointly held by RSAIP and the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) with the support of the Eurasian Patent Office, the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)’s Office in the Russian Federation. Olympiad results are traditionally summed up on the World Intellectual Property Day – April 26.

Participants of the Olympiad are the students of graduating classes of secondary schools and graduates of professional educational institutions (colleges, academies) regardless of their citizenship.

Round I of the Olympiad will be held from December 28, 2022 to March 10, 2023 in the format of online testing on IP issues on the RSAIP website.

Round II (February 1 to March 15, 2023) – submission of written projects on one of the preset IP topics to the RSAIP examination commission.

Round III (April 26, 2023) – in-person presentation of projects by the finalists and completion of the competitive assignment (online participation is possible).

The winner, laureates and finalists will be awarded diplomas, memorable gifts from the Olympiad partners, additional scores for personal achievements for admission to RSAIP in 2023.
