On September 16, 2019, EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova met the winners of the Eurasian Patent Universiade “Advancing the Future” Alesker Tarverdiev (Republic of Azerbaijan) and Sanat Seitov (Republic of Kazakhstan).

EAPO President welcomed the winners of the Universiade, congratulated them on the well-deserved victory and awarded the medals “Advancing the Future” as well as valuable prizes. Saule Tlevlessova encouraged young inventors never rest on their oars and wished that the victory in the Universiade became a worthy milestone of their creative undertakings.

The winners of the Universiade had an opportunity to get acquainted with the EAPO activities, discuss the Eurasian examination procedure with the EAPO representatives.

The Eurasian Patent Universiade “Advancing the Future” was conducted by the Eurasian Patent Office to support talented young people and increase their interest in intellectual property. 185 participants from the Contracting States to the Eurasian Patent Convention took part in the competition and presented 143 projects.
