On December 12, 2014, delegation consisting of Mr. Ichitaro Ito, Owner and Partner/Patent Attorney, Felicite Patent Professional Corporation, Japan, and Mr. Gorshkov V.V., a representative of the law firm Gorodissky & Partners, visited the Eurasian Patent Office.

From the EAPO side the delegation consisted of directors and experts of the Examination Department, Patent Information and Automation Department, and International Relations Department.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the activities of EAPO and the Eurasian patent procedures for investigating the possibilities of patenting Japanese inventions in the Eurasian region.

During the visit the EAPO specialists informed the representative of Felicite Company about EAPO activity, the Eurasian patent granting procedure, advantages of the Eurasian patent system, information and search systems used at EAPO. During the meeting EAPO delegates provided comprehensive answers to all questions of interest of the Japanese delegation.
