On June 23, 2009 the Delegation of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) visited the Eurasian Patent Office.

The Delegation was represented by
Dr. Jung-Sik Koh, Commissioner; Mr. Young-Sun Kim, Director of International Cooperation Division; Mr. Jong-Nam Kwon, Director of Patent Examination Support Division; Mr. Seung-Kwan Lee, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Division and Mr. Ki-Joong Song, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Division.

From the EAPO side the delegation consisted of Dr. Alexander Grigoriev, EAPO President; Mr. Viktor Talyansky, Director of Examination Division; Mr. Anatoly Torin, Director of Division for Economic Development and Human Resources; Mr. Dmitry Rogozhin, Director of Formal Examination Department; Mr. Saparbai Eminov, Director of Procedure Automation Department; Ms. Oksana Vlasova, Leading specialist of the International Relations Department.

During the meeting the parties informed each other on activities and functions of their offices and discussed prospects for future cooperation.

The parties signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation.
