The Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) announces the launch of the PPH Pilot Program between EAPO and the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R. China (SIPO) as of April 1, 2018.

The Pilot Program is based on the Memorandum of Understanding on the Patent Prosecution Highway between the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization and the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China, signed by EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova and SIPO Commissioner Shen Changyu.

The non-official English translation of the Procedure to File Request to the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) for accelerated patent prosecution of patent application in accordance with the Patent Prosecution Highway Pilot Program between the EAPO and the SIPO is published at International Cooperation/PPH Program /en/treaties/pph/. This Pilot Program will run for three years and is subject to prolongation upon mutual consent between EAPO and SIPO.
