On September 19, 2019, EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova took part as a guest of honor in the celebrations dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic.

The event was attended by leaders of international and regional intellectual property organizations, heads of national patent offices, as well as representatives of European IP community.

At the International Conference “Protection of Industrial Property Rights in Europe”, held in the framework of the jubilee events, congratulations and presentations were made by António Campinos, President of the European Patent Office, Christian Archambeau, Executive Director of the European Union Intellectual Property Office, representatives of the Government of the Czech Republic.

The International Conference, as well as the Exhibition of student’s inventions and ideas, familiarized the participants with the development of national IP institution and the innovative landscape of the Czech Republic, the current IP challenges and tasks facing both within a country and the European region as a whole.

EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova on behalf of the Eurasian Patent Organization congratulated the President of the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic Josef Kratochvíl on the remarkable event, presented a memorable gift and wished long years of cooperation and strong partnership between the Eurasian and Czech Patent Offices.
