Head of the Industrial Designs Division of the Examination Department of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) Asemgul Abenova presented the benefits of Eurasian industrial design patent to the entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The speaker outlined the key features of the Eurasian system of legal protection of industrial designs, the examination stages and normative legal acts regulating the regional system of industrial designs protection.

The thematic workshop “Eurasian system of legal protection of industrial designs” was organized by the Department of Mass Entrepreneurship and Microfinance and the Public Relations Department of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The EAPO remains committed to delegating competent EAPO experts to participate in awareness-raising and educational activities on the regional system of intellectual property protection for scientific organizations, universities and entrepreneurs from the member states of the Eurasian Patent Organization.
