The management board of the China Association of Inventions visited the Eurasian Patent Office. Representatives of the EAPO, the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators, and the Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys attended the meeting.

Counsel to the EAPO President Emil Mammadov presented the advantages of the Eurasian patent system and noted its relevance to the Chinese community.

“More than half of the active patents are maintained on the territory of all 8 EAPO Member States. This means that the Chinese companies are in demand for the widest possible regional protection,” said Mammadov.

The EAPO proposed to arrange seminars on the process of obtaining a Eurasian patent for invention and industrial design for the Chinese community. The China Association of Inventions is committed to working actively to encourage inventors to develop and patent their inventions in the Eurasian region.
