On February 12-15, 2007 EAPO delegation headed by the EAPO President Dr. Alexander Grigoriev visited the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) in the framework of Memorandum of Understanding between the EAPO and IMPI signed in September 2006 in Moscow. 

The Eurasian patent office will take part at the 10th Moscow International Salon of Industrial Property "Archimedes" to be held in Moscow on the territory of the Cultural-Exhibition Centre "Sokolniki" from 27 to 30 March, 2007. 

According to the decision of the EAPO administrative Council taken at XVIII-th (XIII ordinary) meeting held on September, 5-6, 2006, para. 8(1)(iii) the Statute of Fees of the Eurasian Patent Organization after the word “time limit” is added by wording “and also, if summed prolongation of time for examination requests is 18 months” 

On October 25, 2006 a delegation from the World Intellectual Property Organization consisting of Mikhail Makarov, Acting Director of the Patent Information Classification and IP Standards Division; Peter Waring, Senior Analyst and Beatriz Largo, Specialist Examiner visited the EAPO.
